Etching

Etching is a highly detailed art form, similar to a hand-created pen and ink drawing. To create an etched memorial, an artist scratches the surface of the granite with a laser or diamond tip tool. A variety of intricate images can be achieved with this method. Etchings can be black and white or full color and come in a variety of styles. Etching is the perfect way to create a symbol that represents your loved one.

Frames

A custom cast solid bronze frame can be a wonderful addition to your family memorial. Open rings and covered frames in many designs are available for oval memorial portraits. Bronze frames come in standard and polished finishes and rings are also available in chrome, gloss black, and matte black.

Portraits

Portraits are available as glazed ceramic discs and custom hand etchings. Ceramic memorial portraits are available in subtle shades, including black, white, and brown and white. There are several sizes and shapes to choose from including oval, rectangle, and square.

Sandblasting

To sandblast a memorial, the craftsman uses a rubber stencil and forces sand against the surface of the stone. This cuts away at the granite while leaving the area covered by the stencil untouched. Names, date and intricate images can be created with sandblasting.
