Choosing the right memorial for your loved one can be a challenging process. Remember that all features of the memorial (design, color, shape, symbols) can represent aspects of your loved one's personality and history. Think about what was important to the person and how that can be represented in the memorial. Let us help you create a memorial that reflects your loved one's morals, profession, faith, or hobbies.

CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS:

Etching:

Etching is a highly detailed art form, similar to a hand-created pen and ink drawing. To create an etched memorial, an artist scratches the surface of the granite with a laser or diamond tip tool. A variety of intricate images can be achieved with this method. Etchings can be black and white or full color and come in a variety of styles. Etching is the perfect way to create a symbol that represents your loved one.

Frames:

A custom cast solid bronze frame can be a wonderful addition to your family memorial. Open rings and covered frames in many designs are available for oval memorial portraits. Bronze frames come in standard and polished finishes and rings are also available in chrome, gloss black, and matte black.

Portraits:

Portraits are available as glazed ceramic discs and custom hand etchings. Ceramic memorial portraits are available in subtle shades, including black, white, and brown and white. There are several sizes and shapes to choose from including oval, rectangle, and square.

Sandblasting:

To sandblast a memorial, the craftsman uses a rubber stencil and forces sand against the surface of the stone. This cuts away at the granite while leaving the area covered by the stencil untouched. Names, date and intricate images can be created with sandblasting.

MATERIAL OPTIONS:

Granite:
Granite is a strong, durable rock made up of mica, quartz and feldspar that weighs 160-220 lbs. For a long-lasting memorial, granite is an excellent choice. It holds up against most weather conditions. Choose from a variety of standard and premium colors including starlight black, velvet red, caprice blue, black mist and midnight black.

Marble:
Marble is limestone that has been compressed and/or heated deep within the earth's crust. Made up of only one mineral - calcite, Marble is available in various grades of hardness which makes it appropriate for outdoor as well as interior use.

Bronze:
Bronze is a man-made metal made of copper, tin, lead, and zinc. As a molten metal, it is poured into forms to create lettering and ornamentation on a background plaque. A finished plaque will be coated with a clear laquer material to prevent deterioration due to oxidation.
